Letters to the Editor

Q. Some readers have disliked your wasting two pages of the magazine in answering a B.P. patient in Jan. 2000 titled “an uncontrollable temper.” The questioner should have been advised to consult a physician instead of wasting two pages on a non-concerned personal subject. The readers hope that such useless matters shall not engage the magazine in future. The magazine should highlight the problems of the Muslim World and call the entire Muslims of the world to unite against their enemies.

We are surprised that you think light of anger. Aren’t most murders and divorces all over the world, not the result of anger? When someone asked the Prophet for admonition, he repeatedly told him not to get angry. As for physicians, they are hardly of any help. Methods suggested by the Hadith literature, are much more effective.
